On cooler days – and definitely during the chill of winter – the cosy bar at Wingrove House is the place to sit by the woodburner with a newspaper or book, meet up with friends or have a drink before dinner. On warmer days, we throw open the doors and visitors can sit out on the terrace. Nick, who runs the Wingrove, is passionate about wine and the bar has a comprehensive wine list, featuring a dozen wines available by the glass.
